Sourcing Standards

All Primal Puffs products meet these standards.

Beef & Bison

  • 100% grassfed and grass-finished
  • Pasture-raised in the USA
  • No antibiotics, no added hormones
  • Organic certified

Poultry

  • Pasture-raised in the USA
  • No antibiotics, no added hormones
  • Organic certified
  • Free to forage on pasture

Seafood

  • Wild-caught from sustainable fisheries
  • USA or responsibly sourced international waters
  • No farm-raised fish
  • MSC certified where available

Organs

  • Same sourcing standards as muscle meat
  • From the same animals (nose-to-tail)
  • Beef liver, heart, kidney sourced from grassfed cattle

Eggs

  • Pasture-raised hens
  • Organic certified
  • USA sourced

Dairy

  • Grassfed, pasture-raised cows
  • Full-fat only (no skim, no reduced fat)

Bone Broth & Gelatin

  • Made from grassfed beef or pasture-raised chicken bones
